Thats irrelevent to me though James, I gain enjoyment from both and thats he main thing, if you don't enjoy it, you shouldn't be doing it.Retro wrote: I am sure a lot of people will be pleased to read it as you are both a Payware and Freeware Developer and have been on both sides of the Fence.

Sometimes freeware developers feel left out most of the route builders include payware assets in there routes.

I paint, program, tweak stuff for fun ( or if I'm asked ) - I share some of what I just in case someone else gets fun out of it. The gratification is already delivered before anyone else even gets their hands on anything
Congrats to RSC, did you all go for a roll around in a pool of chocolate hobnobs for a finisher? no? maybe next year...

Another hug from France. Keep up the good work pals, can't wait to see the full extent of the improvements to come.

Nice to be able to put faces to the names we know. Congratulations on your expansion in only 2 years, may things continue to go your way.

Wow! That's impressive.
Congratulations to Paul and his team for such remarkable and successful growth. May it continue!
And, thank you for giving me the means to slip back to my younger days and immerse myself in those times gone by in the old country.

Re: Thank you from RS.com
Not always seen eye to eye with RS.com or the Railworks product (does that make me an "anti-hero"?) but it is nevertheless a notable achievement for a company to gain success with what many, including MS when they pulled the plug on the second MSTS2, regard as a niche product. Even more so when considering the precarious financial times in which we live, when even large companies and public organisations are rushing to downsize their workforce.
It certainly demonstrates how far the hobby has come since I started my first website in 1999 campaigning for better train sims.
Now then... With a team that strong (both in numbers and skills) there must be someone who can:-
1. Build us a Class 205 Thumper.
2. Build us a Class 120 DMU.
3. Put together a gum tree set for Australian routes.
4. Give us a decent set of default Mark One coaches!
Best wishes to all at RSC for the next two years.

My congratulations to the team - I hope you continue to grow, and your business flourishes. And to add to the list:Traveller54 wrote:5. Re: Thank you from RS.com
I would like to echo the previous post.
I am not into developing anything for this great sim, I just enjoy the fascination of this great hobby of ours. I hope this does not come across as me being selfish, I just don't have the patience that I know is required to develop anything. I created plenty of activities for MSTS and I enjoyed that, but Age + memory problems does not equal developer's skills.
Many thanks to everyone involved.
