No brake rub sounds are heard. Does anyone know a way of achieving this as unfortunately AP have stated they are not making a soundset for these particular locos.

Brake rub
For my own personal use I have been trying to copy the brakerub sounds from a AP soundset into another loco. I have copied the brake rub sections into both the proxybin and proxyxml files, deleted the blueprints.pak file and cleared the cache.

Re: Brake rub
Did you copy the brake rub sample into the engine audio folder ( and/or check the provider of the source locomotive in the flyout, depending on what you did with the path to the sample ).
There's a section for the brake rub sound, then there will be a section for the brake rub activation triggers, and there might be some modifier chains referenced, make sure you got all of those too.

My posts are my opinion, and should be read as such.

I checked the provider of the source locomotive in the flyout, that did not work. I will try copying the sound file over and changing the paths and provider. Thanks for your help Kariban.

I seem to have hit a brick wall with this. Makes me realise the value of the AP soundsets.
