Hi all,
I've been dabbling around in the editor the last week or so, and i'm wondering is there a way to identify linear objects used in existing routes. The right hand box does not show the object name with a linear object, like it does with scenery objects.
Thanks.

Re: Identify linear objects?
You may be able to with RW Tools - have a look under Asset Editor.

If you use the markup tool (orange dashed square to the left in top fly-out), and mark some stretch, then the properties of that are shown on the right.

Re: Identify linear objects?
This only works with track objects, unfortunately, not with roads, fences or other lofted itemsAndiS wrote:If you use the markup tool (orange dashed square to the left in top fly-out), and mark some stretch, then the properties of that are shown on the right.

Re: Identify linear objects?
Thanks for the replies.
I suppose its a matter of trail and error, checking what things look like in the editor, using RWTools to point me in the right direction, checking what items are on a route.
At the moment i'm browsing around routes looking at assets i might like to use in my first attempt at trying to build a route.
