I will confess to having a glass of wine with dinner yesterday evening but I decided to do a bit of route editing. I can't recall the exact time but it must have been around 2200. When I came of of world editor I was immediately placed in a free roam scenario on the Oxford-Paddington which I wasn't expecting. OK, I thought, let's set up a route and see what happens - nothing; all signals set at 'red' despite the route showing 'blue' all the way out of London.
Now, here's the intersting bit. I exited to be confronted by a completely new Railworks menu (ie the one you come to after the HST spalshscreen). I wish I had made a screengrab. 'Manage you routes and scenarios' was a selection in the bottom right corner; script was much smaller all round - it was totally revamped and, dare I say it, more modern looking than the current one.
However, using this new menu system I tried to load 'chasing the ambers' and, again, sat at a red light as 1806 came and went.
I exited again and when I reloaded the 'normal' menu screen appeared and all went back to working OK.
So, what on earth happened? Was I the only one who experienced this?

sure you only had one glass wine!!!!!
Re: Update-Trial-Withdrawn?
Only one, honestly officer!
One clue I left out. When the new menu layout appeared there was a red exclaimation mark against 'Tutorials' and, on inspection, I had two..... 2. 'Driving a Diesel Locomotive with Expert Controls' listed.
I've just checked and they are both still there.

Re: Update-Trial-Withdrawn?
Ive occasionally had the head menu happen to me, usually when ive been editing my route and it appears to be running slow because its maxxed out. I assume it either loads strangely due to lack of memory or its a safety device put in to stop the game crashing so you can exit normally. Im not sure.
Dont know about the other bit though, one too many Red Bulls perhaps?
