I remember hearing something about DT having a 87 in the works - cannot remember where or when but that's all I remember.

I remember the 87, it was back in RS days. Looked good too. Now what we could do with is a DVT

To be fair about the DVTs, to get them to work properly and not be a bit of a logistical nuisance we also need driving vehicles that don't have to be locomotives - that means proper multiple units, which means multiple simulations ( albeit simplified ) which is something we can't do yet and is actually a pretty big change.
My posts are my opinion, and should be read as such.

I know, just carrying on some teasing from another thread. Given WCML and EG adopted and pioneered push pull on the main line in the UK it would be a very helpful fix. When I get braver at reskinning I will attempt an IC mk1 BG as a stop gap.

Back on thread, an 87 would be at the very top of my list - I grew up watching them on the WCML.

As much i would like to see a class 90 roll out of the RW engine works

Wouldn't it be a bit tough to make acts for it as most of the default routes are non electrified apart from Paddington which only runs up to Hayes and Harlington and would look rather out of place over seas???

There is plenty of routes that would support the class 90 and plenty of us that don't just have the default routes :D
