As a reward for nearly reaching the big 60 I have up graded my PC to a,

I took my pile of boxes of bits home and spent an evening having fun assembling it all and installing Windows. was a pleasant evening and I went to sleep a happy chappy
.Next day it was time to try the new graphics capability so I down loaded the steam software and all was well
. Next I used an external USB drive and copied the complete Steam directory from my "old" PC and then copied it in to the Program files (x86) Directory on my new PC. I went on line with steam and verified RW2 . At this point I should point out that up until now I have been living with frame rates of around 14-21 
. I started RW2 and away it went frame rates up to 120 and all is well
I have read many stories on the forums and have followed many tails of woe.
I am a VERY happy chappy
