I'm not convinced about a dedicated technical forum. Maybe a RW tech forum, but is UKTS the correct place for advising somebody how to overclock their machone to destruction?
Some of the forums do need some work though. The screenshots/video forums are hard to use if looking for specific shots of a route as most seem to end up in "everything..." rather than a "ECML by Creative Rail" topic.

Re: Your Opinions re RailWorks forum layout ?
This may sound bonkers but how about a RW Grumps n' Moans forum for us miserable barstewards to have a whinge in peace (obviously within forum rules)!
That way all the happy-clappers can stay clear, all the miserable gets will be in one place and all will be sweet in the galaxy! At the moment pretty much the whole community gather in the General Discussion forum which means that virtual fights are inevitable. You see it day in day out that as soon as anyone posts something negative then they often get set upon by the gang and then all hell breaks loose and people end up getting banned, suspended etc etc for what often started out as nothing more than a little gripe about something.
Makes perfect sense to me to have a forum for moans and that way if you don't like it you can just avoid it. When it's all mixed in together then conflict is bound to happen frequently.

For once I agree with Jimmyshand - give the malcontents a forum of their own!
['happyclappers', 'malcontents' - we could have started something there, sorry!]
regards Ted.
P.S. I must confess that I would still read what the miserable b's have to say though!
