They're not in any section, that explains why I couldn't browse them :p. Yes, those were the ones anyway.

I tend to use the stock interchangeably, unless you're really looking hard or there's an open frame the gauge difference isn't particuarily noticeable.

!!!!! It's probably fair to say that the lack of railworks British NG models, as compared to MSTS and Trainz is probably down to me, as I was fairly prolific in the old days :)

Just out of interest:-

Plus stuff on outside websites:-

Plus all the stuff that I started but never finished!!!

It really is all quite sad!!

Good grief, if you converted & finished all that there'd be nothing left for the rest of us :p

Im with Kevin on this one there is a seriois lack of NG stock for railworks compared to simulators such as MSTS and Trainz, i like both standard and narrowgauge but the lack of NG means that I only have a limited amount to work with. So please convert the models to railowrks highly appreciated. :( :fadein: :) :D

As I posted in the NG (any sim) forum, there's more than a few routes looking to be done - Southwold has caught my eye, but there's also C&M, Welshpool, Ffestioniog etc. and that's before going overseas. However they're all going to be a bit samey with the Corris locos and rolling stock. Nobody wants this to turn into a "gimmie pig" thread, but anything our intrepid 3D modellers can do to ease the sitaution would be appreciated - though understood if they want to wait until RW3 is here and what implications that has for modelling techniques.

I know that there will be an announcement of a new ng route soon, completely with custom assets and rolling-stock.

Hi all,

I'd just love to get stuck into a RW version of the Leek & Manifold Light Railway. It's not too long, has elements of standard gauge in places, the locos and rolling stock look slightly "foreign", it's only about 8 miles long so it lends itself nicely to being well detailed, and I have an excellent book with scale drawings of most of the infrastructure and stock! What is missing is the appropriate gauge RW track, although (especially if you squint) I guess the 2 foot track would work.

Anyone else fancy the idea?

One was started by Colin when Railsimulator first came out, and I did see some pictures of the TanyBwlch area.

I think we both came to the descision that having to repeat, all the work that had done in MSTS, for Railsim (ie the route and the majority of the stock) was just a bit too much to take on at that time.

I did make a start on some of the loco's, which I still have and will probbaly progress them some day:-

and before the experts tear it too bit's, I am aware of the faults in the fairlie model. It's just a very basic wip default base model.

Cheers,

kevin

There may be a reason why I have been ( and am ) busy making NG stuff at present.... I want to get to the point where I am confident enough with 3DC and the blueprints for locos to make some new assets that are freely available to encourage the re-birth of NG along the lines of the old MSTS days.

My own plans are to complete the Lister I am doing now and then finish some odd sand quarry assets I have started to make a "test route" for other assets in a sand pit.

I have also got a part finished route based on Spurn Point that is taking an age but have also begun to hatch plans to rework my original MSTS route ( the one with the Dam) in RW as well.

But then again I have also got the plans for a Decuaville Progress 040 as well !!!

Kevin is the main man without doubt and matching his standards is a high order
