None, there were other programs from the simulation genre. RW2 was the only Rail Sim "release" in 2010.

Until moderators or admin consider my posts inappropriate, I can continue to post whatever I like. If I feel that RW getting an award from the survey of a small amount of worldwide train simmers is laughable, then I feel I have the right of free speech to be able to say so.

You do of course have the right to say what you like about it, but rather than belittling the achievement wouldn't it be rather more constructive to applaud their success as a basis for future improvements?

Once the future improvements are implemented, then of course I will applaud them. At the moment I can't.

My point was there's no need to be derogatory about this award

I think the main bit you need to focus on is "as you can get", I know is not 100% realistic but what simualtor is?

Interesting. They say it is a good (the best) simulator with bad graphics. We (at least many of us) say it is not simulator enough and graphics are fine.

We use "average gamer" much the same way they use "train enthusiast".

Not easy to satisfy both groups with the same product. But easy to see which group is bigger.

By 'realistic' I imagine they refer to the visual qualities achieved by the graphics engine.

Which, you have to admit, still outshine MSTS.

I can't imagine anyone would be so childish as to do such a thing...
