Found 2 missing textures and installed.

So far platforms at Cowes and Newport are fine so may be that has sorted the issue.

Will double check that DT is ticked for scenario (thought it was) as I do have a number of Terriers installed. For now having a wander with a 4MT tank.

The route really has come a long way since the last version.

Congratulations

Thanks to all involved, my IOW Network V4 is now up and running.
Have been on the scenarios and free roam and had no problems.
Greatly improved over the other versions.
My thanks to the creators.

Confirm that changing saddle tank solved problem. Have driven free roam from Ryde Pier to Cowes and then to Freshwater with no problems. Well done to all concerned.
I don't know if this is significant but RW tools says that there are some missing scenery items although that doesn't seems to affect operation. Thanks again

Congratulations to those who have the time and knowledge for finding the problem, now everthing is working great - just run from Ventnor to Ryde with no problems, and as usual a great big thanks to the team who have spent many hours constructing the route - takes me back to my childhood ( don`t ask when !!) when we would get off the boat at Ryde to be met by a steam hauled service to whereever we were going...

Am trying to create some standard scenario's. Have problems at three places where the dispatcher cannot send a train across a rail joint. Joints seem OK to me. Positions of suspect rail joints are
West of Ventnor West 50.59191 -1.22284. Trying to do scenario Ventnor West to Cowes.
South of Blackwater 50.67394 -1.28413. Trying to do scenario Cowes to Ventnor West.
West of Carisbrooke 50.69550 -1.32093. Trying to do Scenarion Newport to Freshwater.
The last is the most interesting as it is a perfectly formed joint with no other trackwork nearby.
Justin has a scenario that goes across the joint refered to above as West of Ventnor West.

Is anyone else getting these problems or is it just me.

One query.

Drove to Freshwater, uncoupled the loco and ran around to couple back at otjer end.

However could not get the points to change either on 2d map or in sim itself so could not re couple to carriages.

Evening all!!

Glad most of you have now got the route working fine now. I haven't done a scenario on the Freshwater line, because it is due to be upgraded with new track and graidents. I'm sure when this is done, the points and signals will work..

All the best,

Justin :D

I am getting the same problems.
Cleared the one around Black water by relaying some track, haven't had time for the rest.

Hi DriverDW

I tried relating the track immediately adjacent to the faulty join but just moved the fault to another join. How much track did you relay and did you do anything special when you relayed it ?
The track near Carisbrooke would seem to be the easiest but again I just move the fault to a different location

The problem at Ventnor West seems to be more difficult because of the many sections of differing gradients.

Thanks
Norman

Thanks to all involved for this extensive and ever improving network. :)

If I have one note of criticism, it would be the Yarmouth to Freshwater stretch. I was looking forward to driving along beside the estuary, but that doesn't seem to happen until a very short distance before Freshwater.

But overall this is still mostly the reason I continue to fire up Railworks.

Hi Norman

I cut the track just outside the station and in the siding, then removed the points and around 100m of track. Just relaid the track from the station and reconnected from the siding.
Seems to work OK. I haven't tried the other places that you have mentioned yet.

Cheers

Hi Dik
Thanks for your help.
Eventually managed to get a good track through to Merstone but can't get to the Merstone to Ventnor West platform directly. What with the other track problems I have it does mean there are several routes where a Standard Scenario will not work unless the V 4.0 track is modified . Justin says track is to be revised so will wait until then for Standard Scenarios.
