I get automated e-mails at least. I got one in reply to one I sent today about the 111 (and the missing 101 update).
The key to knowledge is not to rely on others to teach you it.

Yes, I sent one from gmail & got an auto reply there, I guess something is being flagged as spam out of my control. Sorry RSC people if you've ever replied to me ( although I've not really sent that many bugs in ).
My posts are my opinion, and should be read as such.

I raised some cosmetic issues with the HST yet noting has come of it. :( Also i sent the email about 12 months ago.
gjhowie wrote:It's 12 months to the day since I first emailed support [at] railsimulator [dot] com about some issues with a Railworks DLC package that seemed to be a very easy fix, yet I've had no response - the package isn't fixed either.

According to package manager the DLC in question has been updated since, so I guess they either ignored or forgot about the issue.

I have sent a couple of follow up emails on this issue, a couple of suggestions and more recently suggested the wheelslip physics may be in need of review, but nothing received in response but automated replies.

My question is: Has anybody ever had a reply from the support email address?

It it even worth my while sending any more suggestions?

I sent an e-mail to support around five weeks ago complete with a dump file. I couldn't get Railworks to work at all at the time.

I never received a reply to my e-mail. I find it a bit annoying as it was a genuine problem not a complaint or suggestion. I suppose maybe for some reason they never received it.

I fixed the problem a couple of days later by clearing the cache (a solution I had not realised existed at the time!!).

Hi 67016, I always get this error if I try to instal a package before the left hand side is filled in and the package manager actually loaded. Always seems to work fine if I leave it till it has checked the package information files so it knows what you've got first.

Hi if it has got as far as this, it should also ask you if you want to save a dump file - say yes & email that to support@railsimulator.com They might be able to find something and give you an answer. I have had some dodgy files that caused it to crash before but getting rid of them sorted that out. Good luck with it anyway & if you've already tried the verify cache option - you could try RWTools to look for zero length files - or you could do a manual search.

I just had a human answer, saying that the bug I reported will be tested and entered into the bug database.

I had produced my first reproducible SBHH that is not based on my own stupidity. :D
