Thankyou, and I am happy that you are enjoying them.

Just for reference, the wagon turntables are called Turntable Wagon Long(16m) and Turntable Wagon Short (8m). You'll find that the long one (the one I reccommend you use) will fit a industrial loco AND a wagon, while the short one will only fit an industrial loco OR a wagon. The short one therefore has no use for tracks where the access is only via the turntable, while the long one will give some scope for playing around in. We are working on a sloution for the short turntable though.

Another thing: We are glad to see that the truntables and the water tower kits have appeared on Cockermouth, Keswick and Penrith, this is a great route, and we will be looking forward to it's release. I also believe the kit will be on other popular routes in the future.

thanks,

Hi, just a thought but why does the loco need to be a box? Can it be person shaped & couple to the wagon so it can be turned? ie use a workman as an engine - coupling could be embarrassing though :)

Thanks for permission to use them in CKPR - I've installed a bigger one at Penrith last night for turning... Well... Bigger engines! Though I think there was an ongoing saga in the LMS about the Penrith TT being too short so I'm probably not being prototypical!

I'll drop you a PM re: signals :D

Cheers

someones on a similar wavelength.

Re CKPR, dad is currently mid-man-cen, but prgress is quick, and the signals will need to be made. It's then just a case of attaching scripts. There wouldn't be as many as some packs, due to the complexity of remaking the scripts, However they will work with the defaults and John Yelland's signals.

Just noticed a small problem. For some reason the wooden sleeper, concrete sleeper, and rail chairs are not selectable from the menu, they do show in the list but when placing they do not show. All other items are fine, just these three bits. Where I have laid them before in a route they do show where I had placed a couple of days before, and they are selectable to move etc. But as I say when selecting from the menu to place nothing shows.

I have cleared the blueprint cache, and re-installed the rwp file again, but still these three items do not place. Also verified the the game cache.

This is the same for all routes.
Anything else I should try.

Thanks

Try underground.

They're like that so I can use them as intermediary geometrys on the track i'm making.

I thought that I had checked that, yes they are there underground first when placing.
Sorry about that, perhaps I am a "plank" not a "sleeper"

Ooh dear. Everything's gone to pot!

Just loaded the MSJ&A route at night tine, and all of the sleepers glow in the dark! These are the same sleepers that were included in the Turntable pack. I know how to fix it (I forgot the shader!) so it is a quick 3 file fix, to the 2 sleepers and the chairs.

Before I release the update, is there anything else that needs changing? I was considering changing the names of the sleepers from "Wooden Sleeper" and "Concrete Sleeper" to "Sleeper Wooden" and "Sleeper Concrete," so as to encourage them to be somwhere near to each other, and somewhere more intuitve to look in the asset list. I was not considering a similar treatment to the chairs, as the name is currently at the most sensible that it can be. This will NOT affect any current setup that anyone has, the filenames will be exactly the same, and the only change to the files will be the display name, and the shader name.

Anything else we have missed?

Yes that sounds a good idea about the names. I don't know if it's possible or due to the limitaions of the program, can the speed of the turntables be a lot slower. Just wondered if it can be done as the built in ones always seemed too fast, perhaps I am too much of an "Anorak" :)

Hi, re turntable speed, can you change the number of frames ie to 32 to slow it down? Only asking - no idea myself! :)

We've tried changing the time between frames, the number of frames, everything we could think of and the speed stayed the same. A chat to Adam at Brighton then revealed that it is hardcoded.
