I will be eagerly awaiting a review from someone who has purchased it, I have the 02 and 101 but not the 8F so it may be worth the investment? As an aside I wonder if Dek has done the passenger view yet as he said he would?

I think everyone here is suffering from the collector's instinct. The desire for something fresh, something new, something to 'complete the collection'. That leads to a bit of impatience. I have suffered from it myself.
As a respite from my BR route, which is growing and has a lot of assets assigned to it and takes a while to load up, I decided to create an additional copy of RS and told myself that it would be a minimalist route based on South American practice with only freeware rolling stock and assets acquired for it. All BR stock has been deleted from it, to keep loading time down to the absolute minimum.
What have I just done? Only bought the RSUS add-on for it!
Can't help it. I have the feeling that it is just going to keep on growing.
Many times people on here have said, in frustrated impatience, that they are not going to buy an add-on because it's late, or not going to buy anymore at all. But of course they do either sooner or later, if not immediately that addon is released. We simply can't help it.
There must be an antidote for it somewhere...
regards Ted.
P.S. perhaps the title of this thread should be amended to - out Monday?

Hi, I suppose the difficulty with doing the passenger view is where do you put it? There are lots of different carriages used with the 101 - less with 111, with different layouts & not all of them are used at the same time. My personal choice would be in the front seat in the middle peering through the blind behind the driver with limited viewing angle - but not very handy when going backwards! So would need a general view which can be used with all the drivers and trailers - but then there is the sound issue - does it have engines or not underneath? :x decisions! :)

Bill (styckx) made a perfectly good passenget view, but I believe he's not released it yet? Due to the newly detailed interiors, it really looks the part as well

And then my post is reported! Woohoo.

Luckily, there is nothing whatsoever in that post that warrants a report.

This topic must now hold the record for the greatest number of reported posts!
Easilyconfused wrote:I am minded to lock the thread until early Monday morning since little meaningful discussion is likely to take place pending the release of the pack.

I'll see how it runs for a while whilst I watch the HA webcams of the new bridge going in over the M5 at Bristol. If the thread disintegrates then it will be locked. No release until Monday so no point in flogging dead horses.
Since this thread is obviously going nowhere, it's now locked!

I think it's better to have a Pre release topic and a fresh Post release topic anyways.
