Hi

My wagon pack (15 wagons) should be in the UKTS library within a couple of days and includes these five wagons which have been specifically created for the Granfield Branch -

Indeed, I would give my back teeth for a lightweight! I'd better get back to Penruddock cutting then.... :D

I can see why they've done the 111, my decision to buy would depend entirely on whether the 101 sound had been fixed, as the stuck in 1st gear whine goes through me. Still, the more the merrier!

I'm actually very interested to see whether they have applied a realistic power curve to it. The 111 has slightly more power than the 101, but the 101 model is extremely overpowered (unless you have applied the freeware patch).
The key to knowledge is not to rely on others to teach you it.

So the Granfield route won't be available on it's own.

I must unfortunately say that I think i'll opt out of purchasing this particular pack for the time being, seeing as there is no 8f/02 variations mentioned (from previous packs). However, the Granfield branch is a must have for anyone, so I thoroughly recommend buying this if you don't already have the route.

If the 111 unit does become avaliable on its own (doubtful), i'd probably buy it. But, already having the 101/8f/02/granfield, it would , to me, be a slight waste of money. Though, if needs be for scenarios, I will buy it at a later date.

Thank goodness I opted for the V2 in the Xmas sales. I was a nats doodah away from buying the 8F. :D :D
For disclosure, I am affiliated with a third party developer however, I do not know anything about any future releases unless I'm working on them and even then, I'd be breaking years worth of built up trust to say anything about it ;-)

This is one that I think I will pass on I have the the 101 and the Granfield Branch that now has a GWR flavour. I think what would have been nice to see would have been a scenario pack packaged with the route.

I will be giving this one a miss as I already have the 02, 8F and route. Since I also have the 101 £9.99 for just the 111 and the, possibly, improved route is not good value for me.
I am sure anyone not have these will get a good deal though.

There has been nothing said to indicate that the route has been modified in anyway as for the 111 there only small changes from the 101 as for the 8f it would be wasted as it was not a common branch line loco
