IS there a newer AP wagon sounds pack. I can't find this path under...Audio\RailVehicles\Wagons\AP\AP_4Wheel_Sound.xml
I opened up my AP wagon sound pack and the only files i found were in the default audio section with the following names:

RA_Container_Freight
RA_New_Freight
RA_Old_Freight
RA_Squeaky_Freight

Did anyone figure out how to get the Wagon entry in the hoppers?
The RW_Tools trick is not working. It is not adding the necessary lines.

My post here has a cut&paste part for generic wagon audio ( it also has a cargo entry for bogie tanks, don't put that in! ).
My posts are my opinion, and should be read as such.

Funny, the RW_Tools "trick" is precisely what I did for my CDAs, it was the UCX 'hoods' that needed a little more manual digging around in...

Pfft. I give up. I tried almost every type of wagon sound I got and the cars still don't make a peep. I can get the bogie sounds to work though.
(Yes, I put the lines in the right place, checked spelling, prayed, waved a magic wand, nothing!)

Just a thought, but have you deleted the blueprints.pak file after making your changes?

It is. You know the score on this Darren.

If anyone needs help, they can go to the author's own website. This is not a situation of our choosing.

How are they supposed to do this if they can't (as in this case) identify the author? :-?

Sorry to stick my oar in but I think a touch of common sense would be better than a literal interpretation of Matt's announcement
