Just read back a couple of pages, all the details are there.
My posts are my opinion, and should be read as such.

So I hmm'ed and harr'ed over this for a couple of days, I'm not a local person to cornwall though I do like abit of freight operation and passenger also, after a few more screenshots I had seen of the route aswell as watching the videos available for it again I caved in and bought it up. I've had a go with the final scenario on the list which has you moving around a few consignments from one location to the next and I have to say from what I've seen in the area on the scenario thus far has been very satisifying.

Detail on the route is really well done, is it accurate to Cornwall? I'm not sure as I'm not a local person so I will take the word of others, but from what I can see the attention to detail on track side aswell as buildings is very satisifying to my eyes. Not alot seems out of place or put down just to fill in a gap it does feel when your driving that it is a real location in the real world rather than a simulated world so I commendable effort on that. I think its always a positive that a route builder can impress someone who hasn't been to the area in real life, so thats always a good thing.

The scope of the route, I'm not entirely sure of yet since I've not had the chance to fully explore it thus far but it seems I could also feel quite happy placing down some of the steam locomotives I have from freeware and payware and they would fit in quite nicely with the route, certainly would enjoy giving Karma's 56XX a run for its money in the hilly areas sometime and also challenging my own steam driving ability on some of the gradients, it certainly wouldn't take much effort to clone this route and add steam era facilities to give it a sort of 1950s look, but even without doing that you certainly could still put in steam locomotives.

So I would like to say thanks to the creators, I'm not a local person to the area but are fully enjoying this route. :D

Finally decided to buy the route and have just completed my first scenario. Lovely scenery and it reminds me of some of the Openbve routes I have seen.
The technique for flora and tree placement is interesting and appears very vibrant and dynamic. It looks like a photo but is obviously 2D. Would like to see more routes experiment with this technique as its very effective and probably resource friendly too?

Nice route, would like to see another passenger scenario some time :)

Would like to see some pictures of Par station from this route. The earlier WIP video looked a little bare of station scenery.

I'm glad to see the lamps are custom ones as is the footbridge. Thanks Kyle. :)

Par station although a little sparse is very accurate to the real thing, so much so that I had a 'flashback' experience as I went in a little free camera explore up the road from the station. Real memories came flooding back of when I used to catch the Newquay train from Par to go surfing before I had a car!! Haven't been there in nearly 2 decades and it's incredible how a computer game can actually restore old memories, sort of like looking at old photgraphs!

As fantastic as this route looks, I'm having a few frustrations trying to create my own scenarios, mainly with the signalling. Even though mine is the only train operating over a stretch of line, the signals won't clear for me. It's not ideal, but if I request it I'm allowed to pass at danger, however this evening I've encountered a stop and even if I tab I am denied permission to pass. It's very strange because there is nothing conflicting with me. The last train to use that particular section of line was over an hour previously and was put into a portal.

Anyone else having issues?

Just a thought - are you running the scenario from the editor (ie pressing the "play" button in the lower right of the screen) or loading it to drive from the main menu? Entering play mode directly from the editor can lead to odd signalling issues

Steve is correct, it once broke an entire scenario for me, literally just randomly deleted half the AI, and fudged up the timings for the rest. My advice would be to quit the editor and scenario and reload from scratch. RW is funny that way

Hmm, I think I've only driven from the editor. Will try it from the main menu tomorrow, if I have time. It's almost 3 hours long and the problem occurs a couple of hours in! Thanks for the suggestion.

You have read the bit in the manual about the way the signals work on this route, right?
