Sounds are amazing from the video, particularly like the starting and stopping sounds and the wheel flats - just my luck to pick the weekend to be away!

Nice to see it supports many different existing wagons.
Let's hope that the pack will be updated when new wagons appear. ;)

One thing I've always wondered is why most locos in RS/RW don't have wheel sounds. You see a loco pass and you only hear the engine noise, but in real life you also hear the wheels, flanges, joints etc like you do on other rolling stock.

They are also applied to wagons in Armstrong Powerhouse extra stock packs (which must be redownloaded) to ensure you get the best out of your scenarios with minimum hassle
The above quote is from the Manual, ....

Daft Question........Do i have to Redownload all the Extra Stock packs, in order for this add on to work ?

Its Friday, and i had a late night , brain not functioning as it should....

Cheers

You would need to redownload any AP stock pack with wagons in it, for this to work with that stock.
My posts are my opinion, and should be read as such.

In that Case .....Links to the required extra downloads would be good then , as i dont believe that the Extra Stock that is needed is in the form of a List...it just says Extra stock on AP website.......and there is only a couple of add-ons that i dont have ....
So which extra stock do i need to download.........

As i said...Brain not functioning as it should today.........Can someone please enlighten me.....

Thanks

Where it says "extra stock" on the product pages of each AP product you own that is actually a link to a file you must download and run the installer, not just copy the assets folder! These extra stock packs that contains all the necessary reskins of payware items needed for each AP product that includes scenarios, including some sound and enhancement packs.

Hi Brian

You only need to do this if you want to play some scenarios from one of our scenario packs and have the sounds applied as there's a chance we may have used reskins which are not covered in the base wagon sound pack.

Ok..

I have 22 of the AP add-ons...and of course, when first purchased i did download/install the Extra Stock that was needed for that product... ......Now are you saying i have to go and get all the extra downloads again and install them again ?...just so this wagon sound pack will work ...

If thats the case...then i wish i was informed as such before buying this add-on.....

Don't worry, the majority of wagons will have the sounds applied. In the rare occurence that you find yourself playing a scenario and there are some wagons without the sounds applied, just redownload the extra stock pack for that scenario pack and all should be well. Redownloading the extra stock pack is certainly not essential for these sounds to work on the wagons they are listed as working on.
