Which asset categories have you got in your route? Do they include the default categories, eg. Kuju/RailSimulator?
The key to knowledge is not to rely on others to teach you it.

That is strange. For the Black 5's which all start with FP the only developer filter you need to enable is "Kuju\RailSimulator". The sounds and models etc are all contained in that main folder.

I'm stuck I am afraid.

Jim, Mike is talking about my MW_black 5 sound pack here at ukts. Developer and product are: 92212/MW_Sounds. It needs to be ticked in the editor. Mike, please check, does the download have an 'assets' file that needs putting in your rw directory? I can't remember. :-? If so, check you've done it right. Don't drop inside your assets folder!

I installed them using the .rwp file or whatever it is, with the RailWorks package manager. It creates the 92212\MW_Sounds folder in the Assets folder and, of course, modified the .bin files of the Black 5.

It works absolutely fine on all routes except my own - this is what I cannot get to the bottom of.

I've successfully placed both yours and the FP ones on the Great Central route, I've placed yours on the WCML North route, etc, and they work perfectly. On my own route, even if I place them successfully in the scenario editor, they will be invisible in game with just the couplings showing, or the sim will crash. If they're invisible, I can click the tender and actually drive the train using the keyboard controls and even enter the cab, and your sounds work, so it's not the sounds that are the problem.

This is an example of what happens - but this is with the FP one!

Anybody? This is quite a glitch really, and somebody else mentioned it earlier in the thread.

Hi, if you've deleted the blueprints.pak file from the Kuju folder already, try calling for the 92212 & KUJU folder from the world editor rather the scenario editor & see if that cures it.

Hi All.

Jubilee Sound Pack just uploaded to the library. These are the GCR Jubilee sounds applied to the rest of the Jubilees. Also the sounds are in the RSC folder, so, they work straight out the box!

Just downloaded and installed this sound pack and I wanted to say a big thanks for all your work. I only took her for a short spin down the Port Road but it was a delight to hear these new sounds. This pack has given a whole new lease of life for the Jubilee, which up until now I had overlooked a bit.

Thanks again!

Matt I hate to say this but once again the same old problem has occurred - no textures as above. There seems to be no logical explanation. I just have to live with it. If it's any consolation two locos I had this problem with are now ok. The N2 had a rebirth with TS2012. Keep up the good work . If the majority of people can use your sounds that is great. No doubt when I get a new rig things will change.

Hi Richard,

Don't bank on that, I have upgraded to a better P/C as I was experiencing the 'Invisible' Loco syndrome, when installing Matt's wonderful sounds while Beta testing the GCR Route, but I still get the invisible Loco even with the new P/C.

The sounds work perfectly, but I can't sort out what causes the Loco (Tenders are fine) to become invisible on my computer, strange that most punters seem to have no problem, but a few of us seem to be struck down with this annoying problem. Really wish someone could sort it out.

Invisible locos are down to the actual reskins or a geo file not been correctly copied over, the locomotive will remain invisible to they are in the correct place.

After some experimenting it appears to be the pathing of the whistle, all the other sounds have no effect and the loco sits happily and visible. The moment I change the pathing for the Jubilee to the new MW whistle sounds it vanishes except couplings. As to why I have absolutely no idea, therefore, no solution.
