I can imagine that since RSC via Steam is Oovee's only publication/distribution channel that this will be the case. The TEA Wagon pack update was an automatic deal from Steam.

One of the best diesel locos in my fleet. I love looking back from the head out view and seeing the smoke build when I open the throttle. Would be great if it was just a little bit more smokey but then I watch too many clagging videos its not health =)

I cant really think of any improvments its already awsome.

Your 57/0 has passion and spirit as well as technical excellence, I just want to keep driving it again and again!

There is one improvement I would like to see on the 57/0, which I'm surprised nobody has mentioned yet.

The current bogie/joint sound is for a two-axle bogie. The 57 has three-axle bogies...

Changing the bogie sound is possible, as demonstrated by the 31, which even uses a different sound for the smaller idle wheels in the middle of the bogie.
The key to knowledge is not to rely on others to teach you it.

Can we add that to the list of "things we'd like added to Railworks"? the ability to set an axle sound and the number of axles in the sound config.

Not too sure if you can fake it, the problem with varying the playback speed of a combined sample with loco speed is the pitch of the clacks drops and starts sounding pretty bad at low speed.
My posts are my opinion, and should be read as such.

Yes I only discovered a way to make better bogies sounds when doing the sounds for the 170 and 31. I will implement this into the 57 as well.

Sorry to bring it up again but as there was no reply to my post I want to make sure I was heard.
Will Oovee be including nameplates on the Freightliner 57s? And also the 57/3 and 57/6s when they are completed? Not just nameplates but 3D ones?

Personally think this is a wonderful add-on and needs little improvement, I'm loving the fine detail such as the TOPS panel and Brush works plaque;

:D Well done Oovee, in fact I think you do the best and most detailed acts for RW.

Hi,

I would like to add nameplates yes, but I think I will leave it for another update later. It will take some figuring out and that takes time, time for which I need to spend on the 156. - Thanks for your kind comments.

Thanks Z.

Think he wants thinner wheel tyres? so the sidewalls aren't so deep.
