Re: Steam DLC Offers
The webpage keeps crashing, I assume under the weight of about 5 million folks all trying to purchase something.....
Best leave it until a more suitable time when everyone else is in bed.

Re: Steam DLC Offers
Grr, I bought the mega pack the other day but I would have waited if I had known this was going to happen
Re: Steam DLC Offers
Remember that sales on Steam usually happen Easter, Thanksgiving (Black Friday) & Christmas - these three you can usually rely on, so if you're near to one of these periods you're better off holding on unless you really can't wait.250787 wrote:Grr, I bought the mega pack the other day but I would have waited if I had known this was going to happen
(Disclaimer! Steam also have sales at other times of the year too, simply pointing out these three "Important" usually not to be missed sales

Re: Steam DLC Offers
Bought a couple of items, be rude not to.
I didn't see the Britannia on steam just now discouted or otherwise, it is a bit awkward to navigate steam at the moment though.
Re: Steam DLC Offers
Sly stopped using steam for IHH releases a while ago. I guess you can't really remove a release once it's there.briyeo1950 wrote:Bought a couple of items, be rude not to.I didn't see the Britannia on steam just now discouted or otherwise, it is a bit awkward to navigate steam at the moment though.
My posts are my opinion, and should be read as such.

Thanks for the 'heads-up'!
Was looking yesterday and decided not to buy in the end - glad I held-off now...
Got hold of class 31, Tornado & Donny Works for just shy of £20 - I'm made up for Christmas now

Re: Steam DLC Offers
The RS.com newsletter doesn't state an end date. So it'll either last for the whole sale period or is a limited time offer and might last only a day or two or three. It's a bit like "Deal or No Deal", you take your chances and hope that you beat the banker!DazDood wrote:Are the Railworks sale prices only on for today or will i still be able to get WCML for £12.49 come Friday?

Re: Steam DLC Offers
Does the offer include ALL customers this time, or are the German speaking countries (Germany, Switzerland, Austria) excluded again? Does somebody know? The newsletter ad only says 'Some territories excluded'
'Why is it that the railway station is so far away from the village?'
The local pauses for a while, then replies:
'They thought it would be a good idea to build it next to the railway line.....'
(Dent Station on the Settle & Carlisle)

Re: Steam DLC Offers
Hard to say for sure without a customer from those areas reporting in. I reckon it would be as RS.com do not distribute to those countries, their partners Aerosoft do that differently.black8 wrote:Does the offer include ALL customers this time, or are the German speaking countries (Germany, Switzerland, Austria) excluded again? Re: Steam DLC Offers
Bit miffed at having paid full price for the Class 31 and Falmouth branch 3 days ago to see those bundled in the sale as well. I know it's only a tenner but the principle applies regardless. What (if anything) are RSC proposing to re-balance the iniquity?
PS: I have grabbed the Mark One's though...
