Just ran the GARL route, the intro scenario and one other 'easy' one and I must say it is fantastic. For a small route it is very detailed and you have to concentrate quite a bit with all the track and lights close together. I'm really glad I bought this and anyone who doesn't have it should go get it before the sale ends, you won't regret it!
Had some great bargains during this sale, plus the Bristol Exeter route, well pleased.

Surely not? I am running a sweepstake on the first person to claim they missed it. Perhaps a fortnight or so wasn't enough.RichyV wrote: Time to lock this thread, perhaps?

Ah yes, the injustice of it all..!Darpor wrote: Perhaps a fortnight or so wasn't enough.
I suggest we start-up a petition on inverse-pricing, where 'sales' are the norm and full-price only happens twice a year for a max of two weeks at a time.
Who's with me?

Well I think it certainly proves you sell a lot more content and raise profile if "the price is right". Also means many, myself included, will be holding back on those items we're maybe not too sure about (present and future) until the next 50% off offer. Maybe this will also be the catalyst that sees an end to some of the sillier prices we have seen, both Steam and non-Steam stuff.
My only complaint is due to working Nights over most of the holiday (now on 7th and last - yay beer tonight!) and either focusing the little spare time on my route and playing the mainstream games I was given, there hasn't been much chance to do much with my newly acquired wares!
Re: Steam DLC Offers
That's been my general buying strategy on Steam for some time both for Railworks and non Railworks games. The only time I've succumbed was for the WCML and I was so mad at myself for paying full pricebigvern wrote:.
