Re: Class 31 anticipation thread!!
21:36 still waiting what time to the Steam guys in the USA start work in GMT time? We should try find out the home number of the Director of Steam so we can give it to Jimmy so he can telephone him and ask them to go into work early today.
Regarding the Class 73, you could ,maybe produce a diesel and electric version of the loco and have it as two seperate selectable loco's in the asset selection list. The only restriction would be that you could not then drive it from electrified to non electrified lines. Would work if the route is fully one or the other. Not ideal I know but a possiblilty if anyone was to develop it.

It happens every week......
Re: Class 31 anticipation thread!!
Hopefully they'll have learnt their lesson now, and not do the same mistake with Falmouth Branch and say "we will release it tonight". And of course, tomorrow pigs'll start to fly.Esurient wrote:I thinks it may be a Doncaster works scenario over again!

Re: Class 31 anticipation thread!!
Liverpool match has nearly finished, mrs due back in an hour, looks like my planned evening of RW fun has gone down the pan! Don't think it's coming tonight
Re: Class 31 anticipation thread!!
I just wonder - did Steam give RS.com a promise that they'd make the loco available today? If so, time to pull the plug on Steam from RS.com's side. If it was RS.com that simply decided to release today, with no form of cooperation from Steam, somebody need to take a BIG lesson in how to build and maintain customer confidence.

Agreed they really need to sort this sort of thing out.USRailFan wrote:I just wonder - did Steam give RS.com a promise that they'd make the loco available today?
