Steam heat

I have noticed that the IHH maroon BG has leaking steam effects. Is there a simple way of implementing this in other locos and coaches .I would like to create some steam heat scenarios from the late seventies early eighties but the maroon BG looks a little out of place.

Not at home so I can't check for certain.. If that's just a particle emitter, it could be cut into the bin of nearly any piece of rolling stock. Unfortunately there is no "easy" way per-say to do it without getting your hands a little dirty.
