Ok, so you've done Great Malvern, and you've done Worcester. How much of the in between have you done? Does it go any further? To Hereford perhaps?gypbrc wrote:And on the original subject of the Cotswolds, I was curious to see how the Malverns looked:
I like that big hill in the background.

Cause they were awful, un-efficent, constantly borken and just rubbish. I spent 2 and a half years driving one on the GWML, and it was awful. Nice sound, but so unreliable, and so much noise and clag, just to depart a station! I'm so glad First Great Western re-engined thier PC's to MTU, it's so much nicer to drive them now, I actually feel as if I can drive it withouth polluting the earth every time i put some power on. The sound may've been nice, but I wont miss the blunder and awfulness of the engine itself. Thanks to the germans for that marvellous MTU invention.richard43 wrote:nice picture I wonder why first great western got rid of there valenta's anyway I wonder what great Malvern will be like
Going back onto topic, the route is looking good, or all the part's you've posted anyway

A slight derailment again, I suspect they were a bit better ooh, 30 years ago when they weren't all totally worn outchef666 wrote:Cause they were awful, un-efficent, constantly borken and just rubbish.
I guess the GWML couldn't stay away from Maybachs forever!
My posts are my opinion, and should be read as such.
