The key to knowledge is not to rely on others to teach you it.

Re: HST brakes
I must say I agree with that.Kromaatikse wrote: It's arguably a stronger relationship than that: we are customers.
Not so long back the word on these boards was that money gained from sales would be invested into developing new products. Customers are a company's ultimate investor
For disclosure, I am affiliated with a third party developer however, I do not know anything about any future releases unless I'm working on them and even then, I'd be breaking years worth of built up trust to say anything about it
Re: HST brakes
I dont think transadelaide's comments were truly understood.
Not so long back, someone posted stating that as they had bought an addon, they were indeed now an investor in the company and had a right to have their say on improvements. I found that absolutely staggering.
Does that mean I am now an investor in Heinz, Goodfellas, Kronenbourg etc etc etc etc and as an investor have a right to have my say on how they should implement ingredients? It all seems a bit silly of course but that is honestly how some people see it.

Re: HST brakes
Just a small point, but the HST brakes are not actually "broken" as such. As RSC have said, the update didn't work quite as expected/hoped but it hasn't rendered the HST undriveable

Re: HST brakes
I see what your saying Darren, point retracted, apologies to transadelaide
Back on topic, I ran the Wales & Borders XC summer Saturday scenario last night with the Virgin default HST repaint as my vehicle of choice and the brakes seemed fine to me. I'm fully RW2 and havn't messed with it in any way. Has there been a sneeky update to sort out the brake issue?

Re: HST brakes
My guess would be that the Virgin default HST repaint, being based on the original Rail Simulator model, also uses the original RS physics?
