O.K., enough's enough!
Some of the recent posts made are coming close to breaking section 3 of the guidelines, especially the last one!

I had to laugh at his posts on Steam though, he keeps calling that poster "old and baldy" yet his nick is Toldrabald.....This chap's certainly gone off the rails in more ways than one......

Cheerz. Transport Steve.
Hey Steve, yep it's me. I tried to be nice to him and just warned him about the contents of his posts a couple of days ago, after he tried to call me "troll". After that he seriously went mad. And yes my nick contains the word "bald" - but it doesn't have to do anything with it. It comes from Tolkien's middle-earth universe and is a hobbit's name ;)
Please note: english is not my native language, sometimes I may not use the right words to describe what I want to say.
I don't mean to offend anyone, but irony and sarcasm may get lost in translation

Ah the ideal man to do the route from Minas Tirith to Rivendell, then. (Could RW handle the run round at Isengard though?).

Hello Toldrabald,

At least you have a sense of humour and didn't fall for any of his nasty comments. We do get a few "characters" like him on all the Railworks/Railsim forums unfortunately, don't worry, we are not all like him.....

Cheerz. Steve.

Just as long as the Mines of Moria NG network is included, I'll be happy :D

Seriously does the guy ever give up.. Even an undergraduate in accountancy can see the flaws in this demented argument..

I would argue against him but the mods on his site (and I use the word "his" for a reason) banned me for trying to develop an opposing argument against the guy !!

Ightenhill - Was the warning above not enough to convince you that you need to cease stirring it? Final warning - any more posts like this and you can expect a temporary forum ban, and moderated posting on your return. Your choice....

There are some ridiculous "points" being made though to reinforce a non existent point. One suggestion is that the "mega pack" is possibly RSC getting rid of "stock" in anticipation of going bust in the new year??????

Since when did digital stock have to be rid of when it's infinite?

Just to clarify, Ightenhill, I wasn't talking about Otto, rather the guy on the steam forums who threw a wobbly, forgot his name

The mega pack was an ingenius marketing idea. Whoever thought of it had to know a good number of users probably already had a few (or a decent chunk) of those items and wouldn't pull the trigger because of repeat items. Then new users might be gun shy because, well they are new and it is still $200. The exposure that massive sale generated though is priceless.

Ok first I get a warning for using so called text speak (the most common available example of it ) though this thread shows more complex examples and nobody is even slapped on the butt.

two.. I dont buy into this no free speach ideal thats recently developed on the forums.. Goodbye.

There's been no "recent" ideal against free speech - bottom line is that everyone has always been expected to comply with the forum rules. Where members fail to do this, it's usually pointed out by a moderator (as happened earlier on this thread). If members continue to breach forum rules, a warning is usually given in the thread by a moderator (as happened in this thread). If a particular member persists, it can be no surprise if the warning comes to fruition. I'm not sure what part of that is complicated, but there's only one person who's responsible for your posts and that's you.

See you in seven days.
