The Lake Line

Hi folks,

Just to clarify, we do still intend to release The Lake Line (which is indeed a totally self-contained, standalone product). A number of factors have delayed the release, one of them being the amount of time we have left to complete our RailWorks 2 DLC releases this year, but it will still be released. Our intention is that The Lake Line will be a simpler, lower-priced train sim experience which will satisfy a large number of casual simmers and rail enthusiasts - and if it gets them into trainsims, so much the better!

I'd wonder though, if this product really uses the Rail Simulator/RailWorks "core", if it would be possible to do something like what was done with the Settle - Carlisle route for Trainz? Ie if one does not have Railworks, it installs as a separate product with the cut-down Railworks core, while if one already has Railworks it'll install into Railworks as an ordinary add-on?

That is a great idea, USrailfan. Like TRAIN DRIVER (West Somerset) fits into TRS2004 and 2006. PLEASE RSC!
