Definately a 150 for me as well, think of the geographical coverage of this class, past and present. 155, nice to have, but fairly limited in comparison.

Get 47s,Peak's and Deltic's and then we're onto something :P The age when the TPR was actually used by proper trains!

Class 140 unit was the first prototype for a second generation DMU, with the 1984 built 141 production run just pipping 150s to be the first second gen DMU, but I too would like to see a Class 150, very versatile usage in their history, not many routes they haven't been on at least in part.

I have difficulty accepting the four-wheelers as "second generation". :x

What do you mean by that Wolly? Have MI6 commendeered them all? if they have they missed one cause there is still a Class 67 doing passenger work up my neck of the woods. (Sorry for the cheeky comment Wolly no offence intended, I am genuinly interested though in what security roles you are referring to)

I think wolly is refering to the fact the royal train loco is a class 67. However I can't see what that would have to do with getting data on them afherall before that it was a 47 and people seem to beable to get data on them.

There's now a view of the driver's cab on our Facebook page - should also have more images available shortly.

Thanks,

A view of the very cramped drivers cab in our Class 153 DMU, coming soon!
Cramped? That's the Number 1 end, veritable luxury compared to the Number 2 cab.

A 180 would be right at home on B-E. Well, if it's half an hour late as well.

Hi,
I have just been thinking.. Will the class 153 feature two different cab ends? As in real life...( the small cramped one and the normal one)

Thanks

you never know they might do it, but would imagine it's an awful lot of extra work, and personally i wouldn't be too bothered if it was the same cab either end really.
