Re: AP15: Bristol to Exeter scenario pack - Armstrong Powerhouse
I think that the scenario packs are aimed at those people who have the payware and wish for scenarios to enable them to use the stock they have.ianb1234674 wrote:Class 66 class 158 mja wagons and many moregypbrc wrote:'extra payware'?ianb1234674 wrote:£4.99 is a disgusting price for scenarios when you need have extra payware as well!!!!!!!!!!

For £11.99 I can get a route and 20 scenarios !! Ohio Dover comes to mind. :bad-words:
Re: AP15: Bristol to Exeter scenario pack - Armstrong Powerhouse
Indeed, so can everyone else, the same way that everyone else can choose whether to buy the scenario pack or not. It's doesn't do anyone any favours bad mouthing the products of independent developers.

Which I expect will sell many more copies than our scenario packs therefore allowing a comparatively smaller price to be charged. If you don't feel our packs are good value then that's fine, no-one is forcing you to purchase them.

ianb1234674, your posts are intemperate and unconstructive. Constructive criticism is fine, rants about payware are not. You have been warned.

Re: AP15: Bristol to Exeter scenario pack - Armstrong Powerhouse
As an aside; it was the AP scenario packs that introduced me to the extra stock available for RS/RW. When I first came across the AP website back when I was playing RS I had no idea that the 158, 66 and Voyager were available. It was only through 'wanting to play the scenarios' that I discovered all of the extra content available; and this was in the late days of RS. I'm sure I can't have been the only one to have discovered simming with RS/RW this way. We now have many publishers of rolling stock and additional scenario packages like these bring all of what is available together for best use without any bias/limitations of choice or obligations to limit what is used so 'everyone' can play it.
