Hi,
I made a freeroam scenario for Hagen Siegen. It starts at Finnentrop.
Before the update however I could use the compass flyout with it's list of other locations and then fly to the location I wanted , ie Siegen or Hagen.
Now we do not have the compass anymore.
I tried to clone the scenario and then change the starting loaction. But that's just a name, RW does not really start there.
Does anyone have an idea how to solve this ?

Re: Starting location in free roam scenario
Hi,
The compass is still active in the World Editor as before, please note it is now nearly transparent in nature (the bit that normally shows ) - but in the same position as before
another thought:-
If you start a scenario and wish to change location before selecting a locomotive, you could go to the edit mode change location and re-enter gameplay that way
Hope this helps
Charles
edit - The compass however has gone from the ' drive / play' mode of Railworks2 and was not really needed; as you could only sucessfully change/ jump to location in the EDIT mode anyway.

Re: Starting location in free roam scenario
The compass was very useful in drive mode - it could be used to note locations where there were problems/errors in routes or scenarios. Now that is impossible. The loss of the compass in drive mode is a retrograde step.nsupersonic wrote: - The compass however has gone from the ' drive / play' mode of Railworks2 and was not really needed; as you could only sucessfully change/ jump to location in the EDIT mode anyway.

My railway photos are now on Google + - links to the albums are in this thread http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... 9&t=149558
Lots of steam and early diesels from 1959 to 1963.
