Yes, Andy, I've seen the previous correspondence but since the latest 'update' I've reverted to doing the job with RW Tools. It seems the easiest option. The RW way isn't too bad though.

Just went to get the new tools and met "Dug" too. Looks like a real character and full of sparkle!

Hi Mike
Just downloaded your latest express update , talk about quick out of the blocks.
Great effort, I like your little Canine helper, but I would not let him near the Christmas pressies.

Even if Derek has not used RW Tools it is very nice to see the RW2 new front end lists routes in alphabetical
order as your program has from the start.

thank's for all your efforts.

Regards

Mike

Thanks Mike. I would not want to be without your Tools. They are so easy to use and very useful. Dug looks great by the way.
Kind regards James.

However, I do understand in the right hands they are very very useful..
Well done for updating the tools Mike.

regards

Derek
A "mess" would include opening a scenario and being greeted with an obtuse error message from RW about missing items. I think you know what I mean. The solution to the mess is:

1. running the "Show missing stock" function in RW_Tools, and instantly knowing which models, re-paints and other ditties are needed to run the scenario

2. running RW_Tools' Edit Scenarios function to easily substitute stock you have for stock you don't have

How would you accomplish this with RW alone?

Oh, and I'd define "in the right hands" as anyone who can read directions. It's not rocket science.

In the wrong hands a person can make a mess with any tool.

I do think RW should inform you beforehand of anything they do that affects RWTools so that you can get the update out before they release the changes.
To be fair, RW do in fact help me with some such information, but some changes are made at the last minute and I can easily miss them.

Hi Steve,

Yes, this one is known as a 'Cavalier King Charles Spaniel', he has nearly doubled in size in the past couple of months.

As a very last resort It's also handy to fix the countless spelling mistakes in the RSC official scenarios which really get on my :fist:
