PS Oktoberfest Rocks.. Cracking people, cracking place
I doubt 9 euros is the price of a normal beer in Muenchen. People visiting the Oktoberfest don't mind paying some more and the people selling it would be crazy if they didn't charge a premium for it. Regarding the addon I must say that 30 euros is insane. The BR120.1 in two liveries and the Apmz and Bpmz coaches do imho not justify the price. We already have those cars, maybe not as pretty, but nothing new. Where are for example the dining or bistro car and the driving van trailer (Steuerwagen)? I'm quite interested in good German rolling stock, but I've have to pass on this one.

I may not be German, but I'm quite sure they would think 30 euros is far too much as well.

I thought Blue Sky Interactive were involved with RW's? have they gone by by again?

Or maybe they are going by Märklin prices. The difference though is that Märklin make consistently good and reliable models, and DB haven't yet demonstrated that ability for RailWorks.

I was hoping for their envolvment with RW but that didn't happened. They decided (unfortunately) to stick to MSTS.
The price of 29.95 Euro for BR 120 is really overpriced.

This price is also in Germany very high. Too much for me. I love German Railroads for their TS products but her RW products are to expensive.

If it comes out on Steam and comes down to a decent price I will consider it, but not at 30 Euros.

One thing I do want to know is if this is the first train to feature a clock in the cab?

Been to Norway lately? Over here 9 euros isn't far from the normal price of a beer....

I was there in August. Amazing scenery, but I passed on alcohol there.

I never paid 9 Euro for a bear in Germany.
And will never pay 30 Euro for a RW locomotive, not even for a good steamer

Since both topics seem equally important, let me give you some inside information from the near-German.

Local beer is 3.0 - 3.5 € by the 0.5l glass. Only beer from the British islands is 4 - 5 €, and you only get it in Irish pubs.
In Bavaria, they have 1l glasses which means that either you drink very fast, or the second half taste very old.
But in most of Germany, having fun is strictly prohibited, so they go across the border once a year in Bavarian disguise to get their annual quantum.

BSI sit on their fence until their back hurts too much, but it seems to be pretty hardened.
Aerosoft announced a route which will be about 40 km. Whatever the price will be, it will certainly be more €/km than WCML.

Trye, it would have to be damn cheap to come even close to WCML in the value for money stakes, maybe $10 or so including at least one new rolling stock item. I also can't see Aerosoft immediately releasing a bucket of payware-friendly free scenarios for it like Keith did.

Perhaps if there was a bit more freeware stock available, the price would come down.
