how do you delete a scenario

Hi I am trying to delete a scenario in Railworks 2. I thought you just highlighted it on the menu screen and press delete like in the original Railworks 1. But it does not seem to work, or am I just doing it wrong. Thanks.

I don't think you've ever been able to do it that way. If you installed the scenario using the package manager, you can go back in and uninstall it from there, or I believe you can also delete scenarios from within RWTools (useful if you installed several scenarios in one package but only want to delete one of them).

You could do it that way in RW1, not now though, from the main menu, click on edit, then scenario edit then you can delete them that way, failing that, you can use the package manager as just mentioned or use RW tools (if that still works of course with RW2)

Hi thanks for the replies the scenario is one I created so there is no uninstall option. But thanks for the advise

RW_Tools will delete both routes and scenarios in RW2, which is not all that different 'under the hood' to RW1 or RS fo that matter.

If anyone finds any RW_Tools option which does NOT work under RW2, please let me know asap.

Hi Mike,

I seem to be seeing an error message when using "Scenario Editor" since RW2:

Missing items:-

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\railworks\Assetsbin

This does not stop you from swopping Rolling Stock items.

Also seeing something different when Checking for "missing" Rolling Stock for a Scenario.

I have sent you an email with a screenshots of the errors.
