BR blue being recreated in all it's glory. An era I remember fondly from my childhood. I ran a scenario on WCML and there was a BR blue 86 parked in the end platform at Glasgow Central just like I remembered them in the 1980's. As a kid going to Central was a rare treat and I used to make a bee-line for the 86's and 87's that were always parked in the end platforms. They were awesome beasts with rakes of blue mk2's in tow and really stood out from the other commuter trains and old units

In fact that is usually what motivates my route projects these days, creating a route that has long since closed and maybe "imagineering" what it could look like in the modern era.
