For some reason mate, the thumbnails are completely different to what the actual pictures are when you click them. I thought the same when I first saw them.

Re: Just Trains VGA/VKA Wagon Pack
Just disable the "jeremyclarkson=1" parameter in the wagon and they should stop doing powerslides around curves
On a more serious note, I have just bought the new V pack. I don't have the AP sound pack discussed but I will consider experimenting with some other existing sounds if they are indeed too quiet. I'm pretty confident if there is a major issue with any of the pack that JT will sort it out and patch it soon, they are usually quite solid performers on that front.

Re: Just Trains VGA/VKA Wagon Pack
Figured I'd post this here as it shows very well the importance of a real sound set. This adds at least another $5 to the value of a wagon set if not more.
I went and applied the Chinese freight wagon sound set to the default freight wagon sound for the entire default game, some 3rd party and the wagon packs from RSC. Little start up roll and a nice passing shot at speed.
Simply brilliant now.

Holy guacamole!
Okay, Bill; be patient with me as I'm not 100% caffeinated yet and am still reeling from some of the behaviours exhibited in the RW2 thread, but is this a simple fix that a numpty like me can apply? Or, is it a tedious, time-consuming labour of love that's going to be wiped out the next time Steam updates? Those sounds are brilliant...
Cheers, Rik.

Missed this first time around, Malc, so wanted to say "thanks!" heremsmith4000 wrote:OK guys here a screenie of the problem below, it appears to only effect some of the FSA wagons.
I too had a bit of a "lightbulb moment" when reading about the sounds, especially when Richard mentioned that it affected the FSAs and I thought "Aha! Now I know why all my default FSAs are wonky!". You've saved me the bother now, so many thanks again!

Re: Just Trains VGA/VKA Wagon Pack
Hi Guys
I know i'm driffting of topic here but i just tried the new scenario, of dwagency, for the noth europe route . Excellent sounds from default rolling stock . This must be added to the route, track, rather than the rolling stock that we've been modifing. I'm confused
