WCML Early Morning Run

I am having a great time with WCML and luckily all the included scenarios that I have tried are working no problem ( after having spent a fiver on the buffer set before it was out for nought ). The freeware early morning run scenario looked good and having most of the payware assets apart from TEA, IGA and IWB wagons I went ahead and purchased them. Have spent most of the day loading all the assets and checking RW tools and getting no missing stock went for the tentative first load and got the dreaded something bad has happened but we are not telling you what. Anybody else having problems or any ideas where I have gone wrong.

Turn off Detailed Shadows and Procedural Flora, and you should slp under the memory ceiling that the SBH error means you've hit.

Thanks for that advice, always thought that my rig was not top end but it could run RW and most new games including Mafia2 ramped up to high setting no problem but you were right it cant handle this scenario. Put all settings to medium and it worked perfect. I will experiment tomorrow turning things up to see what it doesnt like.
Thanks again for the speedy reply

Managed to get it to run with these settings,
High Detail Shadows Off
Water Low Detail
Proc Flora Off
Object Texture Medium
Everthing else to max
The Object Texture wouldnt go above medium with most settings.
My hardware for anybody with similar problems running this great scenario.
Windows XP
AMD Athlon 64 5600 Dual Core
Nvidia Geforce 9800GT 1024mb at 1920 x 1080 resolution
5mb RAM

I didn't have any problems with this scenario when I ran the light version yesterday. This is a very nice scenario and it was a lot of fun to play it. What I need now is a 25% off Steam Railworks weekend to buy some of the other stuff. I'm sure there are more people who look at some scenarios and put yet another loco on their eventually to-buy list.

Thats generally been my philosphy.. Everything seems to go on sale at some point or into a pack with JT stuff so I buy it then.. I think the current idea (WCML) works well as well, discounting new products on release for a week or two..

I played the original full-fat version last night and loved it! So great to finally get to use the 390

Hi folks,
I agree, I hope that a sale comes around as suffering from an illness Im unable to work, so funds are tight
and it makes it difficult when the senarios require a lot of payware. I havn't been able to try early morning
run for that reason, but I am having great fun with WCML, I did Carstairs Split and scored -10394.... a bit low.
I'll have to give it another try, i think im getting addicted to this great add on.
Cheers
Steve.

Hey folks! thanks to see all of your positive feedback!
FYI i created this scenario on the setup listed in my signature below. i was able to score 20-25fps on the FULL version and 30-40fps on the LITE. i do not run any performance or graphics enhancers either.
hope this helps!
oh and just watch out when reducing detail levels in game as apparently some platforms vanish if the detail slider is down too low.

Hi Chris
I managed to tweak my system and get your FULL scenario working great by just dropping the water textures to low and the texture detail to med.
As a complete idiot when it comes to creating scenarios ( not got the patience of you guys ) I take my hat off to the WCML route creators and your excellent scenario and as a Glaswegian living in Carlisle that uses the line regularly I can confirm the accuracy of both route and scenario.
Lokking forward to your next scenario.
