Package Manager - Case Sensitivity

Post by brianbwlim »

Package Manager treats UPPER case and lower case letters as different one, even though Railworks runs on Windows environments(Not UNIX).
If we instal more than 10 freeware routes, we will see "textures - Textures" "scenery - Scenery" etc...
They are actually the same file, but Packet Manager recognizes that files as different ones.

Is it already ponted out?

3 month past!

Nobody has interest on this.
That means most of users are real Drivers.

But for someone, handing more than 100 rwp packages may have trouble by this.

Repeating installing and uninstalling will not make clean assets directory.

For me, I always pay attention to the file name, to match the existing one.
So, all of my more than 100 rwp's has the exact same file name for alll the assets.

Anyway, forget about it.
