HST Bogies on powercars move wrong way

Post by ghawk2005 »

On the Intercity Swallow AND the Great Western Merlin livery repaint the bogies turn the opposite way to what the curve does. I have tested the BR Blue version and the default First Barbie livery versions of the HSTs and these work fine.

What file handles such things like this? is it easy to copy it from the default setup to the IC and GW repaints?

Try hunting for a parameter along the lines of "scandinavianflick=1" in a file somewhere, set it zero and you should be fine.

Scandanavian whatever!!! what a joke

I have however managed to fix it. It was a simple case of the class43.bin of the ICS and GW merlin HST the bogie_01 and bogie_02 bits were the wrong way around in the file, just copied the default barbie script for the 2 bogies accross to the other files and it all worked perfectly fine.

Currently recreating Salisbury to Exeter 50s/60s.
almost all yard, trackwork, scenery and signalling complete salisbury - wilton. Trackwork 2013 standard to Gillingham, Older beyond. - Abandoned due to newer tools in subsequent TS versions.

The key to knowledge is not to rely on others to teach you it.

HAHA the bogies were turning the wrong way but they weren't bad enough to tip the power car over!!!

anyway i got it fixed by myself. as with most things in railworks, if you have a problem, fix it yourself coz you'll go grey before railworks team fix it!! lo
