I expect this has been covered before but is there any way of forcing RW to use certain numbers on carriages other actually texturing them on manually. For example, we know certain DMU sets operated in a configuration of certain cars. ie a fictitional 3 car DMU because I haven't got my old spotting books to hand would be say C126 based at Cardiff Canton depot would consist of 51345 + 59432 + 50214.
Cheers.

Re: Train Set Numbers
I'm pretty sure if you use MS Excel or similar, you can set which numbers the auto-numbering system will show, although you can put whatever you want to in game.

Re: Train Set Numbers
While editing the numbering range file is an option, it's a hell of a lot easier to just double click on each item once placed in the scenario editor and insert the numbers you want. The numbers then update either instantly or when the scenario is saved, exited and reloaded.
Different rolling stock items have different options regarding how numbers can be assigned using the right hand side flyout, usually explained in the DLC's manual. A good example from the Class 380 manual is entering A68001380005 would display a destination of Glasgow Central (A), a vehicle ID number of 68001 and a multiple unit TOPS number of 380005. Different items work differently, check the manual for details. Another example is the Just Trains Class 20 where variants with TRN display boxes can have entered something like 201401A25 for loco 20140 running service 1A25.

Re: Train Set Numbers
Thanks guy's
I never new you could select what numbers you wanted as I've never had cause to use this function before. This is just what I'm looking for and it worked a treat.
Cheers.
Darren.
