Thanks for the information, a good point. It isnt a chore but the main issue for me is that i dip in and out the game from time to time, sometimes play it for a few weeks then won't touch it for a few months etc so having the option of steam doing the work for me rather than me missing updates or spending the time i want to be playing the game updating it is preferable!

That's a rather interesting way to look at it. He may make a few quid extra per sale by sticking to independent sales only (minus whatever cut Fastspring take for sales and distribution) but he's sure losing out on volume if he's relying on only loyal followers and forum users spreading the word for exposure. Only a very small proportion of RW users are on UKTS, surely it would be better to hit up a lot more of them for a smaller amount, hence getting the IHH name well known in time for his next release. Maybe he's planning on releasing it to RS.com/Steam after a little while once all his loyal followers have got it from Fastspring.

I have to agree and have said the same many times.. There seems little or no logic to not releasing on steam as a asecond source of income unless Im missing something (Do steam charge you if you dont sell enough volume or something).. My credit cards waiting to buy the western set but as I said on that thread, I would rather purchase on steam and have everything in one place and updated automatically.. Hopefully with the Big Boy now being moved to steam and which I have now purchased other items may follow..

Another nice touch is the chunks of red hot coal that get fired out the chimney every time she slips. And she slips a LOT with a heavy load on.

Working sanders too, ala Petes Q1.

I thought I'd have a go at producing the named locos not included in the pack - here's 70030. I've also changed the green to suit my own taste (nothing wrong with the green that Sly has used though!) and put a lion crest on the tender. Very pleased with the pack but just a small point - the pipe leading to the cylinder should in my view be hidden behind the smoke deflectors.

Thats nice. Assuming Slys permission, any chance of upping that? There doesnt seem to be many steam locomotive respaints for Railworks for some reason.

Hi All
Can you help please I have purchased the Britannia, and i cant see a download site, or any way to Get onto my PC.
It's very confusing with this set-up when steam would of just downloaded it straight into the sim.

You should have received two emails:
the first is merely a receipt confirming the purchase and entitled something like "Your Order: 7MT Britannia 4-6-2 [IRO123456-1234-12345]". Within this email, it will state "Your order is currently processing. You should expect to receive additional information in the next several minutes."

This last element refers to the second email which is likely to be entitled "IHH Britannia Steam Locomotive‏".

This second email contains the following text:
Thank you for ordering the Britannia pacific package.
Unzip the received file and install the RWP file with Railworks Package manager.

Also included is the free IHH bonus content package

This is required for the included scenarios

The Port Road route is a free download via STEAM

Many thanks

You may download using the following URL:

<insert URL link to your content, here>

If you haven't got either of these emails, check any "spam filters" you may have set up. If the emails aren't there, email IHH support.

If they are there, just click the link to download and follow the instructions, above.

As Wikkus suggested, if you are still having problems then email support@IHH with your name, address and email address only, the same details you used to place your order (DO NOT send any card details) and I'll have a look and see what's happened.

Question:

I have both the 9F and Brittania. Would it be possible to swap the Evening Star (lazy waving) fireman for the one of Brittania?

This would be a great improvement to the 9F......
