Derek, is there a way to pick and choose what you want the HUD to display? Many of us use the HUD for different reason and want to view different things. It would be nice if we could pick and choose what the HUD displays.

hi, ...

Yes there has to be my opinion and view wrong.
There are indeed millions worldwide who are enthusiastic.
Good for Railwoks.

Maybe you should use the title "change Simulator" in "Game.
Railworks "Train Game" .. for there runs on it out.
Maybe you could even design a coin left in the corner.
Incidentally, I think the career mode still .. good for kids.

its not a Sony :o ... uh ... not a simulator :o uh it's a game. :o

I'm not going to moan about it - however "useful" info to me is : Distance to next station (useful if it's the first time you've driven a route), Gradient (up or down, pretty self explanatory why it's handy), current speed limit (for the routes where the sign posts aren't very visible, or junctions where track limits haven't been changed properly) and since we haven't got a ready "Buzzer" or "Bell" when its time to depart the green orb is useful.

So for me, provided the "f5" text options stay and either the old F3 screen doesn't get replaced or new HUD can be 'Sectionalized' into these tidbits of information then I shall be happy.

I've simmed through the years on ZXSpectrum Keyboards, and various other 8 & 16 bit machines through the years so keyboard usage is far more natural to me rather than move mouse pointers on screen to control the levers and such. For I am an old(ish) fart.... :P
