Re: IHH Western Packs Released
The multi-diesel pack was always shown at 19.99 and the Western pack was 11.99, not sure where you saw the difference in price.

Re: IHH Western Packs Released
I've just ordered both packs, but I have received no email with a download link in for the class 52 pack, I have got the email for the WR diesel pack.

Re: IHH Western Packs Released
Should have recieved a email just after the payment method email comes through and the fasttrack order bit comes through, I got the download link email on the 3rd email after a few minutes. Can confirm anyway that the 52 is working fine for purchase so everything seems to be in order, just purchased both packs and just waiting for the BR diesel pack to download then off to run these beauties. Thanks for bringing these to us Sly and nicely done.
Re: IHH Western Packs Released
Thanks, I can see the scenario info on the 'Buy Now' page for the Western - These look very impressive, I must say...RichyV wrote:Once the slight 'glitch' is sorted, any chance of some info on the scenarios, as I can't find anything that mentions them...

Hi John
Just looked through the orders and I have no combined orders on the books that I can see.
I chose the single choice ie no basket system to simpify urchasing .. may have to revise that decision.
pm or mail me your order details and I will check it out..

Re: IHH Western Packs Released
Just getting mine now, there aren't any snakes on the Isle of Man but I'll be attracting them if I don't turn down my sub woofer.
For disclosure, I am affiliated with a third party developer however, I do not know anything about any future releases unless I'm working on them and even then, I'd be breaking years worth of built up trust to say anything about it
Re: IHH Western Packs Released
I've bought both packs (individually) and had no problems - lovely looking machines, and very distinctive noise on the Cl. 52 - had a run on a couple of the scenarios, and had no issues, except crashing into another service 'cos I was gawping about at other stuff. Luckily I had £30 in my paypal from flogging stuff on ebay, but to be fair, £36 for all that lot isn't bad value at all in my eyes - hope the add on pack gets the cabs etc that the models merit.
Thanks for them Sly.
Matt

I understand you perfectly.

Re: IHH Western Packs Released
Hi Paul,
I believe you are correct in stating that the 'Green' livery never came with FULL yellow-ends, only panels.
But I also believe that there were 6 Westerns originally painted in green (green was only used as an original colour, and never used as a 're-paint' on any...).
D1003, D1004, D1035-38.
All the rest (other than D1000 & D1015) began life in Maroon. Most with yellow panels, but a few with just the buffer-beam painted in yellow.
HTH.

Re: IHH Western Packs Released
I'm just got the Western courier scenario on pause at the moment and took a few screenshots prior. First impressions is the model and cab interior is doing to a incredible standard and very high detailed and if my memory isn't being fuzzy they look like how I remember it, I had a cab ride in Western back in 1993, don't recall the name of it but it was a hell of a experience.
The sound is just beautiful, its meaty, its powerful, 0-100% throttle is a steady but constant bigger and nastier growl which befits a engine of this size and it sounds the dogs balls so to speak when your getting up to speed. The horn I'm abit hmmm at, maybe its because I'm used to the two tone horn which the other diesels have, its not a issue though and doesn't take away from the Western, its sufficiently loud and you can make it sound long to, just me thinking all the diesels had the two tone
.
Since I love doing screenshots for the DLC, here they are, first is Cab view and the rest is name plate and just two side views, its the BR blue livery Western from the scenario mentioned above:

OK sorry that's my mistake.crumplezone wrote:The multi-diesel pack was always shown at 19.99 and the Western pack was 11.99, not sure where you saw the difference in price.
It's been a long week (and it's not finished).

Re: IHH Western Packs Released
Oops forgot to mention dept.
The horn is two tone but seperate keyboard controls
space bar High tone ..
B key low tone... press once to apply and press again to release.
Once the key mapper issue is sorted i can apply a custom mapper so the B key behaves same as space bar
Have Fun

Re: IHH Western Packs Released
Ok here is my thoughts on the Class 52. Firstly the scenarios only seem to work on if you have both packs, and as I only had the western pack (and not the diesels pack) there was a lot of missing assets. Secondly there seems to be a broke axle on the 5 set of wheels (at least on the red mini yellow front, not tried the rest) the looks a bit irregular compared to the others (More noticeable at slow speed for some reason) The windscreen wipers only work on the inside. There also doesnt seem to be a manual. The drivers position seems a little far back.
However;-
The sounds are fantastic. I dont know what a real Western sounds like but that sounds like what I expect. The cab is excellent. Performance seems accurate, skins look great, as is the model. You also seem to have taken on board the complaints about windows not being clear enough. You can open the drivers side windows.
Very good indeed, and with the bug fixes It will be even better. Well done that man.

Re: IHH Western Packs Released
If I recall correctly to change cab ends on a diesel its normally ctrl + shift +1 isn't it? If thats correct then I may have possible found a bug, in the scenario where you take western champion from the siding up to paddington and couple up to coaches at platform 4 I'm unable to switch the cab end, thus having to go out in reverse instead of forward, but the little cab fella is in the right position just when you hit 1 for cab view its facing towards the coaches, unless I've done something wrong ofcourse, not really sure. :| Beyond that I'm not having any problems.
Edit: Nevermind, I was hitting the wrong key sequence, sorry, its ctrl and minus or positive key to change positions, false alarm!
