Hi Vern, many thanks for the V o R,it has brought back happy memories for me,years ago I went on this route with my late wife,
and never thought I would drive a loco up there.
my thanks go to all developers who work so hard to make this Sim great.

Thanks for that. Scenario creation is not my strong point and tend to consist of simple run from A to B type activities!

Had a go at the first part of the scenario which was really great. Only issue was points would not change to allow me into the Capel siding to complete the tasks set. Nevertheless a really great scenario so far.

Thanks

Hi Chris,
Sorry about that, I've just had a mess about and it seems to be the water instruction that buggars the final destination up. I think it's because the water isn't on a markered stretch of line. Easier for me to delete the instruction than for Vern to update the route.
I will sort it and get the working one uploaded.

regards
Phil

Landslide scenario updated and uploaded.
The 'take on water' instruction wasn't being recognised as completed, so points wouldn't change to let you into Capel Siding to drop off the carriage and finish part one of the scenario.
Water instruction deleted.

Phil

Phil that's fine - certainly did not ruin my enjoyment of the scenario. When I get a moment will have a go at part 2.

Sorry for the Invalid file, but having a quick run I discovered that I had forgotten to include a loco in the read-me and a crucial bit of info.

Just downloaded your latest route Vern and had a quick look, excellent as usual, you have captured the feeling of running along a narrow guage railway very well, I am a fan of NG and will look forward to exploring the whole route.
Thanks again.

Hi
Just ran over the route and it works very well. Excellent
Also wanted to say that anyone who has bought my Railworks Talyllyn Adventure CD should try running loco #7 - Tom Rolt on the VoR. It manages to run up to Devil's Bridge without a stop for steam "blow-ups" (some sections are down to 8 mph however) and just about arrives with enough steam to be realistic !! :D

Stunning route! Thought I was travelling through a photograph. It's going to take some practice to keep the speed up.

Just one question - Is there a bridge missing at Devil's Bridge station? I only noticed as I was in #2 view and noticed a road go over the top of the train, but no sign of a bridge, nor any comment about missing asset/texture.
Any help would be much appreciated, I have all the detail options maxed out.

Right, now to take the train downhill!

Cheers

There is a bridge over the line at the Devils Bridge throat. If memory serves me correctly (I'm at work at the moment) it is one of the Phorum Peninsula assets so make sure you have that installed and the assets enabled (found under "Community") in the RH pull out after clicking the blue square/orange triangle icon as described in the installation instructions.

Thanks for the quick response. I have Phorum Peninsular duly marked, but nothing shows. Which one of the PP bridges should it be?

Cheers

I found the bridge wasn't there if my display object setting was below 10.
