Klaabu wrote:Great loco. Soundset is just superb and driving feel very realistic due to delayed power control. Breaks are reacting way too fast I think. For unknown reasons usual keyboard commands do not work and I have to use only mouse to operate this loco. Maybe keyboard commands can be switched on/off somehow? Consist length indicator is very important new feature.
This is absolutely stunning add-on loco pack.

It is located under the centre of the windscreen next to parking brake light. The Instrument lights switch is located above driver door.
Thanks for that Rich, everything is correct apart from the instrument light position. It was located where mentioned in one of the early version but we was told that it was in the wrong place and its now found on the panel above your head to the left or if its too dark in the cab at night you can press the M key on your keyboard.

Been trying to leave a review all morning Zane but cannot sign in with either Google or Twitter. Just gives a message telling me "unable to handle request".

Cheers Zane. With this loco, showing a screenshot is as good as a review!

Re: Oovee Class 57 - Intermodal Scenario Problem

Post by sundog »

Hi

I guess no-one else seems to have picked up this problem, but I'm getting a "Scenario Failed" message when I try to run the second Freightliner scenario "Freightliner-Wentloog Intermodal", and I get the following message:

Scenario Failed to Load - Driver '4V26' at lat. 51.52420 long -0.25486 - Can't find destination - Reading 8

The scenario starts with the train at a red light, but the wheelslip warning triangle is showing as well.

So far this seems to be the only problem I'm having with this fantastic pack. Love the model, the sounds are outstanding (especially the flange squeal at low speed), and it's got a great "presence" - if you know what I mean, and with those little extra trimmings it's taken this add-on into the next league IMO. The only thing that's a little disappointing are the low-poly wheels, BUT once you're moving that's hardly noticeable anyway

Thanks Oovee for another great pack. And if someone has got an answer to my problem they'll get a virtual bear AND a pack of virtual crisps :D

Cheers

Disable ALchemy if you are using it and re-try.

PS: The scenario works perfectly, btw.

Manuel
Hi Manuel

Thanks very much for the reply. Ironically, I've been having problems with the ALchemy. I have a Soundblaster X-Fi GO! usb card which uses its own Creative Console, and was working fine. For some stupid reason I decided to install ALchemy thinking it might improve things further, but I was wrong. I did uninstall ALchemy, but it seemed to mess up the EAX setting for my usb card and I lost the echo effect under bridges etc. I've had to re-install ALchemy to get that back again!! :(

Never mind. The important thing is it's my fault and not a fault with the product. Who'd have thought it would have created an error like that?

Cheers

Hi, There's no need to uninstall Alchemy, just disable it for RW:

That was not the case - I've never switched to modes other than Expert and now even checked - it's still active.

Exactly. Cleared cache and everything now works okay. Thanks for the help.
Sounds are really excellent and this is an example how important right sounds are for realistic simulation. Great job, Oovee.
