i'm definately not a happy badger :(

i love the model it is absolutley ace but no matter how realistic the new spooling throttle is it will not work with my raildriver.
very annoying when i just spent £130 on it & it works fine with all the other UK diesel loco's.
i was so excited when i bought the 57 pack & couldn't wait to drive it,now i can't.
whatever i try to set the throttle at the engine starts to spool up then spools back down to idle, even if i leave the it at 80%.
i did clear my cache but it made no difference at all, very very annoying as i now have a beautiful 57 model that i can't drive (i refuse to revert back to the keyboard)
is there a way around this ?
booo hoooo it's not fair etc.....................................

The loco just feels... solid (not in a quality sense but a physical one). And beasty. It's ace.

Hi

Outstanding! The 57 is superb value for money.
I sat in the cab seeing what I could play with, incliuding shutting the engine down and restarting, without noticing the signal turned to green.
The detail both in and out, and sounds, are just brilliant.
The train length indicator is brilliant. I never knew such a thing existed until very recently.
A big well done to all.

Best Regards

DRS Class 57/0 No. 57005 on an early morning nuclear flask working from Southminster.

Having collected 2 FNAs, the loco stands in the headshunt at Southminster.

Great loco. Soundset is just superb and driving feel very realistic due to delayed power control. Breaks are reacting way too fast I think. For unknown reasons usual keyboard commands do not work and I have to use only mouse to operate this loco. Maybe keyboard commands can be switched on/off somehow? Consist length indicator is very important new feature.
This is absolutely stunning add-on loco pack.

I got the '57' as soon as it was released last night, and it is truely awesome, like i knew it would be! one minor thing though............i do not have a driver in the cab visible on external views. Is this the same for everyone, or do i have a problem?

Thanks gang.

Awesome work Oovee, i knew it would be fantastic!

Cheers,
Terrone.

Make sure you are set to expert mode in the option menu as this loco only works in that mode due to its features.

I'm sure Zane won't mind me saying this. I know he worked so hard on all the features and details to bring them to his standard, and this brought him right up to the deadline set for release months ago. Unfortunately there was a slight problem adding a driver but it will come in an update via steam.

It is located under the centre of the windscreen next to parking brake light. The Instrument lights switch is located above driver door.

Thanks for the swift reply rich0984! Its not a problem mate, I just wandered if it was just me that was experiencing it. Its obvious the amount of work that has been put into the '57' is huge, and its awesomer for it! I will await the update!
