You should watch this video, great looking models, looking forward to them being released. Can see them running on the South Devon Banks route!

Great stuff

It depends what you are willing to pay. I cant see anyone else creating a Western of such quality, and it doesnt seem unreasonable as hes self developing. Yes the group pack is more expensive, and there are other people who are doing warships and Hymeks. But they appear to be first rate models, and throwing in a Class 22 and a Class 14 which I assumed no one would ever model looks to my mind makes it value for money. The inclusion of the Class 47 if you dont have the peak pack makes it look an even better purchase.

Keep up the great work Sly. You certainly have a purchaser for the Western here, I think the rest will have to wait till I get a job though. :)

I have to say after seeing the video I feel more inclined to buy both packs when originally I was only going to get the Western. The sheer model quality is impeccable and the Western sounds are top notch in my opinion, which in no small part is thanks to the help from SVR who allowed Sly to go in the locomotive. The cab view also looks incredible and at the standards which we seen before and it looks like the scenarios are at the level of complexity and interaction (thats if that was also a scenario preview in the vid) like that of the 9F.

Now back to steam engines after this Mr.Sly! *coughs* *broadhint*

Once again, thanks for your work, looking forward to the release.

Fabulous, just fabulous young Sly, superb video and a great advertisement for your talents.

I was going to ask if the Class 47 has steam pipes, or, was it someone else who did that ??

Like the look of those duffs too. I wonder if these will update the class 47 bonus content from other packs? I hope they do as Sly seems to have remodelled the cab windows and they look much better than the previous bonus 47s. Or will Steam do it's thing...? <dalek voice>Must overwrite - exterminate all customisations!</dalek voice>.

I have it, on good authority, that not too much credence is to be given to the word "imminent" in this context and that, therefore, the great and the good can take the coffee-pot off the stove, put the ProPlus back in the packet and relax the F5-pressing vigil until later in the week at the earliest.

This has been a public service announcement on behalf of the "Maybach Watch" (a non-charitable, not-for-profit, non-government organisation consisting of, er, me).

Regards, Rik.

I think the Class 56 was a good 5-6 days from imminent to actual release so relax guys, have a cuppa or a beer, or whatever your poison may be. :D
