Heads-up, peeps:
If you're running "expert" controls and have lost functionality for steam controls via the keyboard *and* you have the IHH Diesel Crane installed:

• Navigate your way to \Assets\Kuju\RailsimulatorCore\InputMappers
• delete Crane_intermediate.bin
• delete Crane_stop_go.bin
• flush the blueprints
• restart your game

and away you go.
