I can't confirm that the 'T' crash has been fixed. Also, I have just created a new route but with the same problems when I raised the terrain. The problem appeared on the same place :(
I will have to send the DMP file again. 8)

I have the same. I sent an error report to support 1,5 month ago, and the wrote it's a known bug on win7 64bit, and they goint to fix it in the next release... but they didn't...
Thanks sanyx for the replay... :D
They have so much to do to dumb the simulator down that they aren't able to find 10 minutes to fix the real problems. :D
It's a 2 years, 9 months old behavior so... nothing new to me. :D
Every time I try to load it, it appears in my taskbar, but it doesnt load up. When I click on it in the task bar I get this error
I had the same problem yesterday. I solved in this way:
- backuped everything i needed from the RW dir
- deleted RW from steam.
- reloaded RW from a backup 2 months old.
- update with the last patches.
Now it works.. as usual.. 8)

About the T key crash i have to repost my post everywhere to be sure that the REAL T Key Crash isn't going in the "nothing"?
http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... 4&t=107983

They have fixed in the 110.8a the 90meters bug done with the 110.7a but the real SRTM-1, where there is a major change of LATITUDE (44N to 45N), is still here after 2 years 9 months and counting. OK? 8)

Now Rauilworks may have some problems but not anymore than Microsoft Windows or games from the likes of EA, much bigger companies. All software companies try their best but software is so complex these days . . . You would not see service like this from most of the big software companies, you'd be lucky to get a reply acknowledging your report so we should be thankful and a patch 6 months later. This is good service RS.com keep up the good work thanks.

Hi,
I will not be allowing Steam to update my copy of Railworks. I am at a crucial time regarding my Route and do not want an update to mess things up at this stage. It would seem that every update produces some errors which seem to have been unexpected or cause major problems for a few others. I have no idea if the people at RS have these updates Beta Tested or just release them. I wonder sometimes if anything positive is done to investigate the problems had by a few people. Maybe investigation only occurs when the number of people with the same problem gets into a three figure amount. I am off the opinion that RS do not seem to have the same caring and supportive attitude they had when Rail Simulator came out and this seems to have tailed off considerably in the last few months.
I have always in the past been a stalwart RS Supporter but I am becoming slightly more cynical as time goes by.
Kind regards James.

Hello everyone
I've shyed away from this topic
However I too have not allowed steam to update my copy of RW
I have been pre occupied working on Candlewick
Picking up on James's point I think there has been a marked change on the forum in recent times
The forum used to be a welcoming place but it is seemingly becoming more hostile
Kind regards Stephen

Hello Derek
There are many examples of an hostile nature I can think of
It has been suggested privately that some members are afraid of posting for fear of being belittled etc
Like I have stated there has been a marked change on the forum
I remember when the forum was a place to seek helpful advice and share knowledge
I'll close this subject here because I don't want to change the subject of this thread
Kind regards Stephen

indeed, anyone with issues with the update should email Support, Mat is there to help. (tho only on weekdays between 10 and 6)

I'm afraid I can not agree with you about asking for help here, while I agree there are a few grumpy folk, on a whole I find that if someone can help they will.
There are a few that seem to do it full time and they all need a medal!

I really do want to get to the bottom of your issue, though I have to say I am at a loss as to why you get the error. Which is why we agreed to start your thread in the first place.
Hopefully we will find the answer.

regards

Derek
