Duly noted Ash.

However it just seems that RS.com get away with this every time and I certainly don't see reinforcing the point about bug or beta testing as trolling, otherwise how will they learn?

Hi,

We are looking into the issue with the pressing T crash.

I do know that no one has touched that code for many months so is a strange one.
I will update users once we know more.

On approaching Newcastle, the next speed limits on the F3 HUD went very weird, showing 9, then 11, then 14 then back to 11 again? I sure as hell know those values were never typed in even if I had made some glaring errors where it would jump to 70 and back.
Darren, those values have always been there on my install, both pre and post installation of the service pack

Very strange then, they certainly shouldn't be and were never typed into the track properties. I would have had to be severely drunk for that, or was I? :o

I found it this morning from a test timetabled scenario. But, if I load up one of the scenarios provided with the route, all is fine, even following the same specific track route.

I should add that the actual speed limit remains at the correct value of 15/25 mph so it doesn't actually affect driving once you're aware of it

On a completely separate issue, I got about 10 miles out of Barstow on Cajon Pass last night and encountered a huge gap in the track - ie the running line suddenly terminates

Will do Derek

Was driving Big Boy at about 55mph (naughty) when there was this almighty crash so didn't have the chance for a screenie. That and it being half three at the time didn't help either

Hi

I ran a verify game cache overnight and it did come back with a few missing files

I've just had a quick scoot along the route again and all the rack is where it should be

Don't know what happened there :-?

I don't know if this related but I've noticed in the route editor mode that if you try and adjust the height of an object the "gizmo" moves but not the object and that if you try and delete any obect it will not delete.......

Hi Simon

I have done that repeatedly on route building this morning and not had an issue. This has cropped up before though and is usually solved by exiting the editor to the main menu then returning.

Hi. I was wondering if a few could keep an eye out to see if their trains on decelerating on downhill sections. I haven't seen it confirmed yet.

Good place to try it would be the Castlerock CM scenario. I think specifically after playing a scenario and going back into one (ie not exiting the game completely). Had to go to bed so I didn't have much time to test, and retest and test again.

The train accelerated downhill like it should with 0% throttle during one run. The next two times I tried it 0% throttle (no brakes weren't on) on a downhill section caused my train to decelerated as if I was going up an incline. I only started gaining speed once I applied 50% throttle. I then noticed the same thing on the Hagen CM scenario.

I already posted a few comments re the Castle rock scenario and duly noted you have to be on your toes to stop her running away.. Even on idle.. Have run it twice and it seemed fine both times...

Just to add my name to the hat. I also have the 'something bad happened' and crash after pressing the T key, it was fine just before the update.
