Upcoming Addon Cologne - Duesseldorf

I haven't seen anyone mentioning it here, but the German
Train Simulator 2010 Railworks site announced an upcoming addon for Railworks. Aerosoft are building the Cologne - Duesseldorf line. Imho it has quite a bit of potential with a combination of highspeed lines (up to 200 km/h) and a partially single, partially double track line for the slower traffic (S-Bahn, etc).
Most of the current German rolling stock can use it without being out off place. Additionally created rolling stock along with the route could make things even better. The older style S-Bahn cars or regional bi-level cars, both with a working control car (Steuerwagen) or the new class 423 S-Bahn EMUs would all be icing on the cake.

Thanks a lot for the heads-up, and I must agree, a lot of exciting projects on display there!
I also loved the tram route.

All looks good, but I'm starting to think that Aerosoft wants there version to be independent, which worries me. I've thought this ever since Germany, Austria and Switzerland were excluded from special offers because of 'new integral features and content'. Hopefully I'm just been silly.
Regards
Chris

I can't see how making DLC set in that region would make their version independent, unless they sell it in boxed format only in Germany. It is kind of necessary for others to make DLC given that RS.com only make UK/US content.

Not the same company I know, but many of the later Pro-Train addons for MSTS were only sold in Germany, not insurmountable as your Amazon UK sign on works at Amazon DE and with a smattering of German knowledge one can navigate the site.
There's another precedent in that the Pro-Train people also released their own customised core version of Trainz.
I guess we will have to wait and see, but I do want those trams!

Some of the German add-on producers even feature a reduced version of their website in English, and the shop should be the most important bit to translate.

Or the important bit to let your Google Toolbar translate for you!
